We are on the look-out for a motivated and skilled Full-time Manager for our support block, Glencoe, in Southland. Our newly acquired support block is a pasture-based farming system with a strong focus on animal welfare. It is a 500ha dairy heifer grazing block centrally located between Gore (20 mins) Winton and Invercargill (30 mins).
To be successful in this role, you will have proven farm working experience in a similar role, and work well in a team or by yourself. There is the opportunity to grow with our farming business if you have the personal drive to do so. You will need to have a sound understanding of feed budgeting, Minda, and NAIT. Experience growing winter crops and an understanding of weeds/pests is preferred but not essential, as training and support will be provided. As the farm is newly purchased, there will be ongoing development and enhancement work around building yards, modifying river crossings and planting trees, and we require a person with the skills and drive to part of this from the onset.

The minimum hours of work is 88 hours a fortnight. The salary for this role is negotiable and a superior 4 bedroom home with outstanding gardens is provided for you and your family.
Successful applicants will be required to undergo a drug and alcohol test and criminal background check as part of the pre-employment screening. You must be able to obtain and maintain a relevant visa to work in New Zealand to be considered for this role.
